Description

Elizabeth A.J. Salzer, PA-C, M.A., has over 18 years experience practicing as a physician assistant in obstetrics and gynecology. She is also a licensed sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE). She also has been involved in medical education for nearly as long, teaching nursing, midwifery, physician assistant and medical students at the Brooklyn Campus, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Yale University (School of Nursing-Midwifery Program), Catholic Medical Center (PA Program), Weill Medical College of Cornell University (PA Program) and Mercy College (graduate program in physician assistant studies). Since 2004, she has been the director of physician assistant studies at the Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus. She continues to work clinically as a physician assistant in obstetrics and gynecology in private practice, at Montefiore Medical Center and at Mount Sinai Hospital.
