Description

Dr. Christy Mulligan is Assistant Professor, Coordinator of the School Psychology Program at Long Island University – Brooklyn Campus. Dr. Mulligan practiced as a school psychologist for seven-years with experience at all age groups prior to joining the academia. In addition to her school experiences, Dr. Mulligan also has a strong clinical background; and completed an APPIC/APA accredited clinical internship in Brooklyn, NY. 

Dr. Mulligan’s research has focused primarily in the area of selective mutism (SM), and she has written and presented on this topic extensively. Other research interests are in the areas of juvenile sex offenders, and positive behavioral interventions and supports.
