Ms. Melissa Lent currently teaches at LIU Brooklyn the HS 300- The Introduction to Health Professions course for the Health Science program. Ms. Lent assists students in the Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree with academic advising and preparation for graduation. She joined the Division of Athletic Training, Health and Exercise Science from previously working in the Office of Student Development and Retention where she was an academic and career counselor, all at the LIU Brooklyn campus. Ms. Lent is a current Ed. D. student at LIU Post in the Education Leadership track and holds a Master of Science in Education for School Counseling from LIU Brooklyn. Her undergraduate degree is from SUNY Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology.
