October is the month to focus on your mental health. The World Health Organization defines mental health as "a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community" http://www.who.int/features/qa/62/en/index.html
In observance of National Mental Illness Awareness Week October 6-12 and Thursday, October 10, 2013, representing both National Depression Screening Day and World Mental Health Day. This month’s Wednesday Wellness Workshop is dedicated to improving your mental health. The materials presented are focused on student development.
