The Annual Spring Dance Concert

LIU Brooklyn dance majors perform an exciting program of modern dance works choreographed by renowned choreographic guest artists from the professional modern dance world. The talented LIU Brooklyn dance majors hailing from around the world perform a modern dance evening overseen by the former principal dancer of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and current Chair of the Performing Arts Department Dana Hash-Campbell. The choreographic work includes Twyla Tharp, director and choreographer of five Broadway productions and Jennifer Muller, artistic director of Jennifer Muller/The Works, as well as new and experimental student work created on the LIU Brooklyn dance majors.

The concert runs Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. & 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 3 p.m. Tickets: $15; $10, students and seniors with ID.
