Downtown Brooklyn High School Jazz Festival

Four stellar high school jazz bands from Brooklyn and Queens will participate in the 2011 Downtown Brooklyn High School Jazz Festival organized by the music program of the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University. Special guest jazz trumpeter Cecil Bridgewater (former sideman with Max Roach and Horace Silver) will be one of the adjudicators. The festival is free and open to the public.
