How to Apply
Funding your education is easier than you think. You can get started immediately by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (for U.S. citizens and permanent residents). Completing the FAFSA is well worth the time investment. You could potentially receive thousands of dollars toward your education costs.

FAFSA - FOR NEW STUDENTS
If you are a new student (U.S. citizen or permanent resident), you must file a Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA) form no later than March 1 and list Long Island University's code of 002751.
RENEWAL FAFSA - FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
If you are current student at LIU Brentwood, you must annually file a Renewal FAFSA on or before March 1 and list Long Island University's code of 002751.
TAP - FOR NEW AND CURRENT STUDENTS
If you are a permanent resident of New York State, enrolled as a part-time or full-time undergraduate college student, you can apply for a grant through New York State's Tuition Assistance Program. The TAP application process begins by filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once you have completed the FAFSA form, click on the "TAP on the Web" link.
