Congratulations on your acceptance to LIU Brentwood! We welcome you to the LIU community and we know that your college experience here is going to be both exciting and rewarding!
Excellent academics and extraordinary personal service are a few of the things you have to look forward to here. We want to make sure that you enjoy your college experience and that you get the most out of your education. So, now that you have received a formal offer of acceptance, we ask that you please follow the steps below to complete the registration process that will confirm your status as an enrolled student.

Submit your Acceptance Agreement
Complete the Acceptance Agreement Form which was included in the acceptance packet mailed to your home. Mail the form to: LIU Brentwood, Admissions Office, Michael J. Grant Campus, 1001 Crooked Hill Road, Brentwood NY 11717.
Apply for Financial Aid
If you have not already completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), we urge you to do so as soon as possible. Logon to www.fafsa.ed.gov. The FAFSA is used to apply for federal, New York State and university grants, scholarships and other financial aid. Our Federal School Code is: 002751. If you need help along the way, contact the Financial Assistance Office at 631-287-8500, email Brentwood-FinAid@liu.edu or click on the Financial Assistance & Scholarships link.
Complete Health Forms
LIU Brentwood requires all enrolled students to complete the following health forms:
These forms should be completed by you and your physician and submitted to: LIU Brentwood, Admissions Office, Michael J. Grant Campus, 1001 Crooked Hill Road, Brentwood NY 11717.
Register for Classes
You can make an appointment to meet with your academic advisor who will help you select your courses, apply your transfer credits to your major, tell you what requirements remain for your degree and advise you on registration for the upcoming semester.
Set up Your My LIU Account
After you have registered for classes, you can set up a My LIU account, which will give you access to your course schedule, grades, financial aid, billing information and access to online course registration. To open your account, you will need your 9-digit University ID number, which was included on your acceptance letter. Then go to my.liu.edu and create a user name and password. You can use My LIU to designate individuals (such as your parents) to view your tuition bill and pay your tuition online. You can also use My LIU as your official email address. Tell your friends and family they can email you at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submit Your Final Transcripts
If you haven’t already done so, please make sure to send a final official transcript for all schools you have attended to the Office of Admissions. If you have a question about the status of your transcripts, contact Admissions at 631-287-8500 and ask to speak with an admissions counselor.
