NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 28, 2016) - On Wednesday, the LIU Post women's swimming team was recognized as a College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2015 semester.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) -- the oldest organization of college coaches in America -- is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches, dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.

The honor is presented to collegiate swimming and diving teams that have achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher in the specified semester.

In Fall 2015, the Pioneers sported a 3.75 GPA, the highest amongst all NCAA programs in the country, spanning Divisions I, II and III. It is also the third time in the last four semesters that LIU Post has had the top GPA in Division II.
