RE: Open Forums Regarding Presidential Search
DATE: September 10, 2012

I am writing to invite faculty, staff, alumni and students to participate in a series of open forums designed to obtain input from the University community regarding the presidential search process. Representatives from Witt/Kieffer, the search firm engaged by the University to assist in the selection of the next president, and I will facilitate a series of meetings that will provide important feedback to the Trustee Search Committee. These forums will allow the search consultants to receive an “early read” from the community about the opportunities and challenges that the next president will confront and to help define the characteristics of the candidates to be considered.
