The Office of University Planning advances the University’s student-centered teaching mission through long-range strategic planning and institutional analysis. The Office facilitates multiyear strategic planning; tracks progress on the University’s Strategic Agenda; identifies and implements educational, financial, technological and administrative best practices; works closely with the University’s finance team to facilitate integrated planning and budgeting; sponsors the development of ERP-enabled executive dashboards; and nurtures a “culture of evidence” by supporting policy development, technology integration, change management and resource allocation. Its Office of Institutional Research collects and manages institutional data; provides official data and statistics to external agencies; supports internal management and decision-making by conducting commissioned studies and research; and establishes standards for data integrity across the institution.
