Doing Business with LIU
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Long Island University supplier. Before you begin the online registration process, please review these supplier registration instructions and basic information requirements. You will need this information at hand in order to complete our registration process.
In order to conduct business with Long Island University and be listed in our Vendor Master (alpha order | Supplier Category), a supplier must be registered with Procurement and Sourcing Services by mailing in a completed LIU Vendor Registration Form, F1400
In addition, suppliers must agree to the following:
- Accept the LIU official Purchase Order Terms and Conditions
- Net 30 Days Payment Terms
- Provide evidence of current insurance coverage appropriate for the type of business to be conducted with LIU (if applicable) per Policy No. P1020
- Provide References
- Provide a Supplier Diversity Certificate (required for diversity suppliers)
Suppliers may not to offer gratuities or gifts to University personnel per Policy No. P1006
Please note that while your registration does not guarantee that you will become an LIU supplier, it will allow LIU sourcing professionals to better understand your capabilities, products and services in light of future procurement opportunities.
