This procedure applies to standards and guidelines that have university-wide impact.
All proposed new policies or significant changes to existing policy first require approval of the operational area’s Vice President. If endorsed by the Vice President, the proposal then must be approved by the President and University Officers before publication.
Policies and major revisions become official on approval by the President and Officers.
From time to time, university practices may require modification to comply with state or federal law, regulation or agency directive. Revisions of this nature should be forwarded for approvals and publication in the same fashion.
