B.F.A. in Photography - 129 credits
The photography program gives the student an overview of fine art, documentary as well as commercial aesthetics and techniques. The curriculum allows the student to take up to five computer graphic classes as part of the photography major. The photographic studios and darkrooms provide an exciting atmosphere in which to create master prints and professional imagery. There are two B&W darkrooms and a color darkroom with a Colenta processor handling prints up to 20"X24". In addition, there are two shooting studios fully equipped with strobes, soft boxes and other lighting equipment. The program teaches students how to see and conceptualize their world, preparing them for graduate study or entry-level positions in the photography job market.
